Seeing G-D

Veiled No More

Mar 28, 2011

Welcome to OneLife Ministries, an online, interspiritual-integral ministry of Arem Nahariim-Samadhi and Love Light Fellowship. This site is here to lead you into a heart experience of Divine Presence, Who is Love. We recognize that of the Sacred in each one and celebrate the diversity of expressions of our Oneness in Grace. We are for peace and nonviolence, and equal rights and justice for all. I hope persons of varied wisdom paths will find inspiration here. Welcome!

Blessings,

No one wins a fight... No one wins a war... Let's get into our Hearts... If one thinks G-D is honored by war... If one thinks we are honored by war... No... So... PEACE!

Entering the Inner Sanctuary

Enter this sanctuary time by settling down, becoming quiet, and breathing deeply a few breaths. Remind yourself you are in the Presence of Love. This place you are entering, within, is the inner Temple. Here, you are One with Spirit and all persons, and Nature. You may use a mantra, or prayer phrase, follow the breathing in-and-out, or witness the arising and falling of all around you as the manifestation of universal-Grace. Enjoy these moments of Quiet and come out when you are ready. The following video is provided, for those who would like meditative music to accompany your Quiet contemplation:

Life is about new beginnings... forgiving what has happened... living in this Moment... welcoming the opportunities at Love, yet to be... And, above all, knowing in Love, the One, we are never alone...

William Law, Christian Mystical Theologian (1686-1761)

Though God is everywhere present, yet He is only present to thee in the deepest and the most central part of thy soul. The natural senses cannot possess God or unite thee to Him; nay, thy inward faculties of understanding, will and memory can only reach after God, but cannot be the place of His habitation in thee. But there is a root or depth of thee from whence all these faculties come forth, as lines from a centre, or as branches from the body of a tree. This depth is called the centre, the fund or bottom of the soul. This depth is the unity, the eternity~I had almost said the Infinity~of thy soul; for it is so infinite that nothing can satisfy it or give it rest but the Infinity of God.

Story: Bayazid of Bistun, Mystical Sufi

Once, some persons asked the great Sufi, Bayazid of Bistun his age. He replied, "Four years." "How can that be?" they asked Bayazid. He spoke, "I have been veiled from God by the world for seventy years, but I have seen Him during the last four years." Bayazid continued, "The period during which one is veiled does not belong to one's life."

My own spiritual journey has been a painful and joyful series of re-birthing that began in fundamentalist Christianity. Many trials, disappointments, dogged determination, willingness to suffer rejection and be misunderstood, and Amazing Grace have, to some extent, offered me bliss of "seeing" God almost constantly. And, in "seeing" God, I have seen, like William Law, Bayazid, and a myriad other contemplative souls of differing faiths, some measure of the fullness of spiritual Life that is the bliss of "seeing" God God's Self as one with the inmost Self of the human person. And, now I know by experience that where this grace of "seeing" is, the "seeing" is a gift of God, and Christ is present, and the Holy Spirit makes possible the gift.
